ANNUAL MEMBER EXHIBITION 2020

HIP annual Members Exhibition is at Rosny Schoolhouse from 11th December to 10th January 2021.

 Titled ‘Our Place – Connecting to Community’.

We are exhibiting with Basketmakers of Tasmania. Member’s work may reflect that connection but it is not compulsory.

The work must be recently produced.

Works can be framed or unframed, it is up to the artists. Schoolhouse Gallery is OK with unframed works being pinned to the walls or hanged using bulldog clips. The limit will be 2 large or up to 4 small works per artist. 3D works will be part of the exhibition so if there is any artwork coming out of the basket weaving workshop it will be OK to include it in the show.

The works need to be delivered to the gallery on Sat 5 or Sun 6 Dec between 11 am and 5 pm.

You will need to email details of your artworks to Sarah (sbishop@cct.tas.gov.au) in the first days of December as she will need them for labelling.

• Title
• Artist
• Medium
• Price                               

You may want to include the number of prints in the edition and artist statement (both optional).

Please note – 22% commission will apply to works sold so you will need to price your work accordingly.

  * Due to the Corona virus situation Sarah Bishop could not advise where they will be an opening and if they will be able to provide catering for this occasion. It depends on the situation at the time and what advice they will receive from the health authorities. It is possible that the numbers of people attending will be limited due to the restrictions. Another possibility is that a small function will be arranged for artists only. We will have to wait and see what happens in December.
