2-Day Exploring Cyanotype printing using wet and dry techniques with Angela Anderson (12-4pm both days)

Workshops

Ange Anderson will teach Cyanotype wet and dry techniques.

This is a two-shorter days workshop on Cyanotype methods. This workshop is suitable for beginners. Participants will receive a handout to help them continue their Cyanotype-making journey after the workshop.

Day 1 (Saturday): 12-4pm 

  • Make a Cyanotype Photogram on watercolour paper by laying objects directly onto the paper
  • Make a Cyanotype Reprograph by laying an acetate negative of one of your own photographic images onto the paper; this can be an image of a drawing and/or an actual photo 
  • Make a combination Cyanotype Photogram/Reprograph by laying an acetate negative of one of your own photographic images as well as objects onto the paper 

Day 2 (Sunday): 12-4pm

  • Cyanotypes on plywood, fabric and wet Cyanotype

ABOUT ANGELA... Angela Anderson is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice encompasses digital, analogue and alternative photographic methods, textiles, audiovisual and sculptural installation works. Her thematic interests include the elements, space, myths, theories of knowledge and hierarchies of value. Her cyanotype, Wintering, printed on a flattened tea box retrieved from a recycling bin, was included in the prestigious Royal Academy of Art, London Summer Exhibition 2025.
