Willow Court, New Norfolk
Hunter Island Press runs projects with different members of the wider community. The projects aim to inspire the artists and encourage them to develop their professional practice. HIPs projects include ’Ephemeral’ on Maria Island and most recently, in Oatlands, with ‘Printing Oatlands’.
Willow Court is our next project.
HIP will have access to Willow Court in New Norfolk. The idea is that we visit the site and respond to the place through the print image.
Following an initial visit, artists will have time to develop their response.
The resulting work will be exhibited on site.
We would hope to launch this project in March and expect to complete in 2022. We are looking forward to working closely with Derwent Valley Arts Centre.
