WILLOW COURT PROJECT

February 20, 2021

This HIP project is being organized in conjunction with the Derwent
Valley Arts (DVA) at Willow Court in New Norfolk. For more
information on DVA https://www.facebook.com/derwentvalleyarts
HIP members are invited to take a tour around Willow Court on the
14th March with the Willow Court History Group. They will show us
around and give us the background to this fascinating site.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Derwent_Hospital
HIP members will be able to spend some time there and record the
visit with a view to producing an edition of at least 2-3 prints. One of
those prints will be exhibited at the end of 2021 at Willow Court. The
other will be gifted to the DVAC to add to their collection of art. If you
are in agreement, the third print may become part of HIP collection.
The exhibition will run over 3-4 weekends. It is an expectation that
participating members take turns to gallery sit over the duration.
11am – 3pm.
The work may be in any print form and any size. There are gallery
tracks so work must be able to be hung. There is no way of affixing
work to the walls directly so unframed work must be able to be hung
from gallery clips.
There will be another opportunity to tour Willow Court and if
necessary further visits will be possible by appointment.
There will be a participation fee of $20 to cover administration costs.
