Collography (sometimes spelled collagraphy) is a printmaking process in which materials are applied to a rigid substrate (such as paperboard or wood). The word is derived from the Greek word koll or kolla, meaning glue, and graph, meaning the activity of drawing. Source: wikipedia.

Alicja is a local,  visual artist who works as a painter, printmaker and a digital art creator. Alicja is an active member of Hunter Island Press.

The workshop will involve

  • learning about materials and using different techniques within this media
  • image transfers
  • preparation of plates
  • inking and wiping
  • producing a final print proof.
