Join us at the HIP Studios in April  for a free Artist’s  Talk by Katy Woodroffe.

Katy is a member of HIP and a very successful contemporary Tasmanian artist who lives and works in Hobart. In 2017 Katy won the Bay of Fires Art Prize and since 2001 has featured in more than 25 solo exhibitions  both within Australia and overseas.

Her latest exhibition Family Heirloom has been running in the Allport Library and Museum of Fine Arts since November 2018. Katy has agreed to speak to us about the exhibition which finishes on 30 March 2019. In the exhibition, Katy explores the complex legacies of early migrants arriving in Tasmanian using fragments of history from her own family.
